Here’s an article from Heritage.org . Apparently the Communist In Thief is so worried about his health care bill, he’s hosting conference calls with left wing bloggers to drum up support.
During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.”
The provision doesn’t actually outlaw existing policies, but basically stops new policies from being written, so once your laid off and lose your insurance or what not then find a new job, your left with Obummer-Care as your only choice.
The question is “How could he not know about this?” Obviously he didn’t read the bill. He doesn’t read any of the bills. He doesn’t have to, and frankly doesn’t care. Obama doesn’t read the bill because he is responsible for directing his Congressional minions to write it as he sees fit. He already knows whats in the bill will strip away rights from Americans and give him what he wants, more power and control over your personal decisions. The rest is just fluff. The rest is there to benefit the Congressman and their crony financiers. Why should he care to read the extras?
Personally, I believe he knew about the provision to choke off private insurance because that is what he wants. I say he just blatantly lied. Again.
